      TeMa North AmericaSince it was a first, TeMa North America and West Virginia officials celebrated the Italian-based manufacturing company’s initial North American venture with a groundbreaking ceremony. The new 42,000 SF advanced manufacturing plant in Kearneysville, West Virginia produces insulation and drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors using automated plastics-extrusion technology.
One of 19 worldwide subsidiaries of Technologies and Materials, TeMa is based in Trieste, Italy. With plants in Italy, Spain, Turkey, Romania and Russia, the company is well known around the world for its continuous research and development of new products in the insulation, drainage and geotechnical sector.
“Our partnership with TeMa and its leadership has been delightful, and the jobs TeMa provides will help families in Jefferson County for decades to come,” said Shockey President Jeff Boehm.
TeMa North America is the latest international company to locate in Burr Business Park. The project was completed on a fast track schedule.
