Another long-time tenant of Shockey Realty chose Howard Shockey & Sons to design and build its new 83,135 SF manufacturing plant and office facility. And when the Winchester operation outgrew its original space, Shockey used tilt-wall construction to build a 40,000 SF addition to the building’s rear — which increased floor area by 50 percent — in only nine months.

The load bearing walls consist of 50 7-1/4” thick, 25’ wide, and 32’ foot tall non-insulated, reinforced tilt-up concrete panels. Truck loading docks were added on one side for receiving raw materials and shipping finished products.
