HP Hood Warehouse

HP Hood is one of the country’s largest branded dairy operators. Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. recently completed a dry storage warehouse for Hood’s Winchester, VA location.

The Winchester plant produces numerous dairy products from first class fluid milk — basically the standard milk products sold at grocery stores — and other dairy products, such as cheese. It also produces nondairy products for Hood’s own brands, private label partners, licensed brands and co-packing accounts.

Regional farmers who are part of dairy cooperatives such as the Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association have benefited from HP Hood’s local presence.
