In Progress: Middletown ES

Shockey will enhance both capacity and functionality to better serve students and staff as part of an expansion project at Middletown Elementary School in growing Frederick County.

Scheduled for completion in Spring 2028, the project includes the addition of a new gymnasium and 12 modern classrooms, which will create flexible learning environments designed for today’s educational needs. The existing gymnasium will be repurposed into dedicated art and music spaces, while the cafeteria will be expanded to accommodate the student population.
