Trex II Warehouse

Trex® Company, the world’s largest manufacturer of high-performance wood-alternative decking and railing, chose to partner with Shockey when expanding its manufacturing operations. Shockey developed a fast-track, build-to-suit warehouse for the company in Winchester; the space is dedicated to the receiving and handling of polyethylene plastics to be recycled and helped meet Trex’s growth needs.

The project qualified for funding from the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, the Virginia Enterprise Zone Program, and the Port of Virginia Economic and Infrastructure Development Zone Grant Program.

Partner Services recently completed sitework alterations at this location, relocating the truck scale to improve traffic flow, expanding campus parking capacity for employees and truck trailers, and ultimately making way for additional warehouse space in another building for Trex.

Trex decking and railing is stocked in more than 6,700 retail locations.
