Richmond DPW Facilities

The staff of the City of Richmond’s Department of Public Works (DPW) provide and maintain the infrastructure of the City and help protect the health and welfare of its residents, businesses, and visitors.

Shockey completed a multi-site project consisting of four buildings to serve the DPW. Building 1 serves the DPW’s operations administration, including street maintenance, street cleaning, and solid waste operations. This building is LEED Silver certified.

Building 2 serves street maintenance and street cleaning. Building 3 is a traffic signal and sign shop, and Building 4 is a radio shop.
