In Progress: Vinson Hall RISE

Vinson Hall Retirement Community is a CCRC offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, and Memory Care for seniors. Phase 1 includes the construction of four new buildings, partial removal of an existing building, and renovations to existing buildings on the campus.

The new construction will include 128 independent living units with underground parking, an aquatics and athletics center, dining areas, and amenties. Remodeling and renovations include administration areas, commons areas, lighting upgrades throughout, and wellness and healthcare conversions. Shockey and the team will also build a new services area, reroute utilities, improve stormwater management, and develop a new intersection at Chesterbrook Shopping Center, which is adjacent to RISE.

Construction is expected to be completed in February 2030.

Vinson Hall is a not-for-profit community, supported by the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation (NMCGRF) a 501(c)(3) organization.
