The Q, part of the Aspirational Village complex at Shenandoah University (SU), offers the newest, most modern features in student housing today. The finished building, located on campus behind Goodson Chapel-Recital Hall and Aikens Athletic Center, provides an apartment-style living option for the university’s upper-class student leaders. Shockey broke ground on The Q in the fall. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Shockey delivered the facility ahead of schedule.
Designed for busy students, the units are fully furnished, including a washing machine, dryer and modern kitchen appliances. Each apartment is approximately 1,600 square feet and comes complete with marble countertops and fully equipped kitchens, along with four single-occupancy bedrooms and two bathrooms. Communal porches and green spaces are also available for residents.
Founded in 1875, Shenandoah University is a private, nationally-recognized applied liberal arts institution, located in historic Winchester, Virginia. More than 1,000 SU students choose to live on campus each year.
