The Q, part of The Village complex at Shenandoah University (SU), offers the newest, most modern features in student housing today. The finished building, located on campus behind Goodson Chapel-Recital Hall and Aikens Athletic Center, will provide an apartment-style living option for the university’s upper-class student leaders. Shockey broke ground on the Q in the fall.
Designed for busy students, the units are fully furnished, including a washing machine, dryer and modern kitchen appliances. Each apartment is approximately 1,600 square feet and comes complete with marble countertops and fully equipped kitchens, along with four single-occupancy bedrooms and two bathrooms. Communal porches and green spaces are also available for residents.
Five buildings will be offered, once build-out is complete, in this residential community. The Q is the fourth building in The Village.
Founded in 1875, Shenandoah University is a private, nationally-recognized applied liberal arts institution, located in historic Winchester, Virginia. More than 1,000 SU students choose to live on campus each year.
