Sancerre Atlee Station

Shockey recently finished building 103 assisted living and memory care units in Mechanicsville, near Richmond, for Experience Senior Living Development, a NexCore-owned company.

Sancerre Atlee Station was developed on an 8.34-acre parcel at the intersection of Atlee Station Road/Atlee Road in central Hanover County. The CCRC offers connectivity in a vibrant, desirable setting for residents and their families, as well as for providers and team members. Shockey built spaces to gather, eat, drink, be social, and thrive in an environment that features world class healthcare services.

With a nod to a modern farmhouse, the design features well-appointed studio apartments and two-bedroom assisted living units, as well as memory care studio accommodations ranging from 321 to 376 square feet. Exterior luxury amenities and conveniences include outdoor dining, assisted living and memory care gardens, a bocce ball court, walking paths, a sunroom, and a covered porch. Interior features include card and art rooms, a library, spa, fitness center with HUR equipment, theater, salon, live piano music, and a coffee bar with café seating.

Sancerre Atlee Station is ideally located just north of the I-95 and the 295 interchange and provides easy access to all points in the Greater Richmond area.
