Partner Services recently performed interior renovations on Winchester Medical Center’s (WMC) Heart & Vascular Center’s CV imaging lobby and corridors. And when a sprinkler leak occurred in the adjoining building, Partner Services performed related repairs, requiring scaffolding several stories in the atrium.

Shockey’s continued work on WMC’s main campus has allowed for advanced treatment of cardiovascular disease in the region. In 2019, nearly 60% of WMC’s 7,000 heart and vascular patients came from outside Winchester and Frederick and Clarke counties. The Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Advanced Heart Failure Center, state-of-the-art imaging services, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program, and access to more than 40 cardiovascular physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) has provided support for these patients. The Heart & Vascular Center earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Comprehensive Cardiac Center Certification, the premier cardiovascular certification awarded to hospitals.
