Trex University

Trex® Company chose to partner with Shockey when expanding its manufacturing operations, relocating a distribution center for deck railing and leasing newly constructed warehouse space in Frederick County for a training facility and recycling center.

The second Trex project was site-planned, zoned, constructed, and open for business on an accelerated schedule. It features Trex University, a 10,000 SF education center where distributors and contractors can learn about Trex products, materials, and history. Trex Company leased an additional 230,000 square feet in the space for pre-packaged railing products that are ready to be sent across the country.
