Need Supply Co.

With a willingness to help clients with projects ranging from warehouses and rehabilitations to huge prisons, Shockey renovated a 15,000 SF warehouse for Need Supply Co., a Richmond-based boutique. The retail shop is located in the urban retail district lining Cary Street, in the Carytown neighborhood. Because of an increase in sales, Need moved its warehouse out of the back of the retail store and relocated stock to the newly-built warehouse in Scotts Addition.

Selling a unique collection of vintage pieces, Need incorporates the culture and style of Richmond into its mix and attitude. Its selection has evolved over the past decade to become a well-edited assortment of contemporary designers and independent labels from the U.S. and abroad. Nylon Magazine named Need one of the 100 Best Denim Stores in the world.
