      VH Systems Support BuildingHoward Shockey & Sons, Inc. was chosen to build the specialized consolidated systems support building on Winchester Medical Center’s (WMC) main campus. The four-story building houses a corporate training facility, data storage, computer/information systems, the school of radiology, internal audit, and the business, marketing, and finance departments for the award-winning health system.
Initially, Shockey competitively bid the shell building, then successfully negotiated all the fit-up work. 
More recently, Shockey served as Construction Manager for Valley Health when the company renovated 30,000 SF of space for its marketing staff.
WMC is consistently ranked among the top five hospitals in Virginia by  U.S. News & World Report.
