A new, 40,000 SF medical office building (MOB), located in northern Berkeley County, West Virginia, offers a visible, convenient location for Valley Health outpatient services to help meet patients’ primary and specialty care needs.
Shockey and Valley Health teamed up to provide fast-track solutions for steady growth in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle. Shockey built an MOB for more than 40 medical providers who have joined East Mountain Health Physicians and Valley Health.
The space provides walk-in treatment for minor illness and injury and occupational health (OH) service and primary care for prevention and chronic illness management. Patients can engage with specialists in heart, cancer and orthopedics. Besides Urgent Care and OH services, the building houses women’s imaging, family medicine, and office space and exam rooms.
Site work included new paving, lighting, parking lots and roadway entrances, and storm water retention. Located on a six-acre building site just off the Spring Mills exit of I-81, the two-story ambulatory care center is the first part of a three-phase project.
