For an emergency department and radiology expansion at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Shockey built a 6,000 SF addition that features 16 private patient rooms, including a four bed minor care treatment area, and completely remodeled a radiology area.

As part of the interior redesign, the new ED at Jefferson Memorial Hospital (now Jefferson Medical Center and a part of WVU Medicine) is able to accommodate 30,000 patient visits annually. The hospital’s women’s imaging center was the first in West Virginia to offer 3D breast tomosynthesis for breast cancer screening.

Most recently, Jefferson Medical Center was named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation.
