WINCHESTER, Va. — Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. has been named to the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) “Top Performers” list.
ABC’s Top Performers list — the only rankings of its kind — recognizes contractors’ achievements in safety, quality, inclusion, diversity and equity, and project excellence.

To be considered for recognition, contractors had to meet world-class safety performance by achieving Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System in 2021. These top-performing contractors are more than six times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to ABC’s Safety Performance Report. Shockey achieved Platinum Status in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System.
