Employees at Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. came together to celebrate the birthday of Ralph Shockey, who turned 93 on Friday, August 17. Shockey’s father, Howard Shockey, started the construction company in 1896. Ralph joined the company in 1937, and is still a regular presence at the company.rnrnHoward Shockey & Sons, Inc. is one of the oldest continuously operating building contractors in Virginia.
