Shockey rehabilitated multiple historic downtown buildings into a campus, expanding the provision of public health and social services available to Winchester residents in one location. The new campus enhances collaboration between non-profit health and human services organizations and minimizes duplication.
Phase II of construction added 38,500 SF of space to the existing campus. Renovations included new HVAC and mechanical systems, new plumbing, a new roof, and a new exterior brick façade. In both phases of construction, the team overcame multiple challenges posed by building age and structural integrity. LEED®-certified.
