Since it was founded as a one-man shop in 1896 by master carpenter Howard Shockey, the company has grown into one of the mid-Atlantic’s most respected names in the construction industry. “Our longevity is due in part to the fact that we constantly try to focus upon the things we do best,” said Jeff Boehm, President, who has been with the company for 34 years. “We can build just about anything, but we concentrate on the types of projects that we build best.
