For more than a century, Shockey has been delivering outstanding results and building long-lasting partnerships with our clients. As we’ve grown, our team has grown, too. We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to a few of our business development team leaders:
Geographic Focus: Northern Virginia + Maryland
Emma Kiser is Shockey’s lead BD point of contact for the Northern Virginia and the Maryland Metro areas. A self-proclaimed architecture and old house enthusiast who loves the nuts and bolts of design, Emma strives to stay on top of industry trends and to find innovative and imaginative solutions for her clients. For Emma, the joy in construction comes from seeing a process through from start to finish. Emma is a graduate of Virginia Tech and a member of NAIOP; she holds a degree in Environmental Policy and Urban Planning.
Geographic Focus: Shenandoah Valley & West Virginia
Bill Wiley is Shockey’s lead BD point of contact in the Shenandoah Valley. Bill brings two decades of experience in real estate development, manufacturing and industrial projects, and commercial services. Bill often takes the lead in creating and maintaining critical communication between clients and the design team. He believes in giving back to his community, and currently sits on Winchester’s City Council. In his free time, Bill roots for his alma mater, George Mason University, as well as Virginia Tech and his children’s sports teams.
Geographic Focus: Richmond and Central Virginia
As Shockey’s Director of Marketing and the lead BD point of contact in the Richmond area, Colleen Smith travels widely throughout the region. She is well versed in the development process, and has extensive experience in the design, engineering, and construction industries. In her free time, you’ll probably find Colleen outdoors, either swimming, hiking, or attending Richmond Flying Squirrels games with her sons. A graduate of Pratt Institute, Colleen grew up in upstate New York and is an avid NY Yankees fan.
If you’d like to partner with Shockey, we invite you to get in touch with Colleen, Bill, or Emma. They’ll quickly answer your questions, and connect you with the construction or preconstruction team that’s right for your project.
