Cell Blocks Delivered to RSW Jail Site

FRONT ROYAL – With clearing and grading work wrapping up at the site of the RSW Regional Jail on U.S. 340/522, 70-square-foot cells are being delivered in blocks of 24 for construction of the 270,000-square-foot jail slated to open in 2014. Some of the cell blocks are 40-some thousand pounds a piece.rnrnThe precast cell modules provide for economical flexibility in both design and construction. The cells are outfitted with detention configuration (bunks, plumbing) before arriving on-site.
