Shockey Upgrades Sussex II Correctional Center for Virginia DOC

Sussex County, Va. – Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. has been awarded construction of a $4.2 million upgrade for Sussex II State Prison in Waverly by the Virginia Department of Corrections (DOC.) The project targets a December 2012 completion date.rnrnHoward Shockey, a Winchester-based general contractor, has a long track record working with state agencies and criminal justice facilities. rnrnIn 2009, Shockey completed the $122 million Western Virginia Regional Jail (WWRJ), near Roanoke.
