Public + Private (P3)

Shockey helps clients discover the most efficient ways to build their projects. If you’re a public sector owner, we can help utilize private sector expertise and capital through a Public-Private Partnerships (P3) delivery system.

Most any project that serves a public need can qualify: any facility operated as part of a public school system or an institution of higher education, any building for principal use by a public entity, any equipment or improvements necessary to enhance public safety or security — even communications infrastructure, technology, recreational facilities.

Shockey has helped counties, towns, cities and school boards streamline the use of their resources and energies. A pioneer in using the PPEA procurement process in Virginia, experts on the Shockey team have put in place 15 much-needed but underfunded public-private projects, including schools, transit facilities, law enforcement training academies, community centers, and parking garages.
