The Stephens City United Methodist Church negotiated with Shockey to provide a larger fellowship hall and increased classroom space for its growing membership. Work included the demolition of the church’s existing educational wing and construction of new 19,000 SF wing, which was attached to the sanctuary.

The historical sanctuary was left largely untouched, with regular worship services and daycare both continuing throughout construction of the accessible facility — even during demolition.
