Howard Shockey & Sons is seeking a talented Marketing Specialist with AEC experience and a great attitude. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contributes to the coordination of pre-RFQ release through submittal (i.e., qualifications development, RFPs, interview preparation, pre-bids, resume updates, and weekly meetings about business pursuits). Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are required.
- Manages HSS photography archive, including coordination of new project photo shoots, selection of images, organization of files, new employee photo shoots, and invoice review.
- Coordinates HSS website development and maintenance plan with consultant firm(s).
- Coordinates PR plan, blog plan, conference plans and awards plans with consultant firm(s).
- Updates CRM database to support business development efforts.
- Ensures professionalism in all external-facing documents via Style Guide and other standards.
- Creates all miscellaneous reports and items needed for a successful business development effort (data sheets, resumes, annual reports, project close-out sheets, business cards and monthly AIA data sort).
Must possess exceptional communication skills, be able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Intermediate to expert level experience in Adobe Creative Suite is required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, social media channels, and CRM systems.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business, advertising, marketing, journalism, communications or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in commercial construction, architecture, or related industry is preferred.
