Navy Federal Credit Union Parking

Shockey recently built a 1,607-space parking garage for Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) as part of the organization’s Frederick County, Virginia expansion.

On a fast-track schedule, parking was provided for an additional 1,400 employees coming to the Winchester Operations Center campus. More than 1,100 precast concrete panels were placed in just 93 days for the 521,00 SF parking structure. Shockey added 20 motorcycle spaces and approximately 200 perimeter parking spaces along with five levels of parking.

Besides general contractor Howard Shockey & Sons, construction team members include the Shockey Precast Group, architect J3 Design Collective, and civil engineer Greenway.

NFCU is the world’s largest credit union and one of Frederick County’s largest private employers.
