LEESBURG, VIRGINIA — The new Pennington Parking Garage at the Loudoun County Courts Complex in Leesburg opened today.
Members of the public who have business at the courts or in the Town of Leesburg may now park in the new garage, which offers 717 spaces on four levels.
At the time of opening, motor vehicle access to the new garage will remain the same as the existing access to the Pennington Lot, which is across from Church Street NE in Leesburg.
The garage has a single entry and exit point for vehicles. Each parking stall is 8’-6” wide. The garage includes LED light fixtures, emergency generator, and CCTV.
Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc., based in Winchester Virginia, served as the general contractor for the new parking deck. Dewberry was the project architect.
This new parking garage is part of the Loudoun County Courts Complex expansion, which includes construction of a new 92,000 square-foot courthouse, renovation of the existing courthouse and historic Valley Bank building, as well as improved pedestrian access to the courts buildings.
