ASHBURN, VA (April 25, 2016) – One Loudoun, an award-winning mixed-use development in Northern Virginia, is pleased to announce its latest anchor project – a multi-level parking structure.
Although the mixed-use community is not yet fully built out, One Loudoun has already developed into a regional destination for shopping, entertainment and dining.
To meet urgent consumer demand, the developer hired Shockey to build a 791-space parking structure on a fast-track schedule. With 252,530 square foot of space, the new garage offers four structured levels and one on-grade level.
Miller & Smith is developing the project. The builder is Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. and the architect is The Eisen Group. To get the project built quickly, the two companies worked in a design-build alliance to speed up the delivery of the project by strategically overlapping design and construction stages.
The garage features smart parking signs and LED lighting. The mass and scale of the parking garage fits contextually with the upscale mixed-use community that surrounds it.
