RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (February 8, 2016) – Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. a multi-disciplinary construction company, is pleased to announce the relocation of its Richmond office.
The company, which focuses on providing construction services to national and regional business owners, governments, and institutions, has leased new space at 2119 East Franklin Street in the Shockoe Bottom area.
Jeff Boehm, Shockey’s President, says, “the new office provides a welcome opportunity for our continued expansion in the Richmond marketplace.”
Over the past 10 years, Shockey has built several award-winning projects in Richmond, including Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School and GRTC’s headquarters building.
Shockey is currently working on multi-phased projects for the City of Richmond, including the T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge and projects for the city’s Department of Public Works. Other recent projects include a warehouse retrofit for NEED Supply Co. and upgrades to a mission critical data center for Virginia Commonwealth University.
