WINCHESTER, Va. — Each year, Virginia Business magazine ranks the Commonwealth’s largest companies in various categories. Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. has again placed among Virginia’s list of leaders.
Shockey is ranked #11 among general contractors, with more than $100 million in Virginia-based construction reported last year.
Shockey is the only general contractor based in the Winchester area to make the list, and one of four from the Shenandoah Valley and Roanoke regions.
“It’s gratifying to see that Howard Shockey & Sons is again ranked among the list of leaders,” said Shockey President Jeff Boehm.
