Building Industry Hammers Out Revival | Winchester Star

WINCHESTER — After a few down years, the local construction market is on the rebound. Building permits and construction activity are up, and at least one construction company is expanding.

Clarke County has seen a rise in new residential and commercial construction permits, from 17 in 2011 to 27 through November of this year, according to Holly DeHaven, office manager of the building permits department there.
